Positive or negative, attitude goes a long way when it comes to how successful someone is in life. But a new study just found that a teen’s attitude and outlook on life today may actually directly impact their physical health as an adult.
The study looked at a group of teens in 1994 and then went back to them again in 2001. They found that the teens who stayed positive and went through their teens with a “glass half full” approach were actually in better health as adults.
The qualities of “positive well-being” include things like having a sense of happiness, enjoyment of life, hope for the future, high self-esteem, and feeling socially accepted.
How about you? Would you describe yourself as a glass half full or glass half empty kind of gal?
